John Pascal Decker, 78, of Princeton, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on Monday, December 18, 1939, in Decker, IN to Jesse Willard and Lucy Lenora Midkif. On June 1, 1958, in Princeton, IN, he married Rochelle June Stone of Princeton.
John was a lifelong area resident and was a diesel mechanic for AMAX Coal Company, Asher Mine and formerly worked for Koberstein Trucking.

John is survived by his wife, June Decker, of Princeton, his sons, Christopher Alan Decker of Princeton, IN, Timothy Kent (Mary Elena Carlino) Decker of Naples, Italy, Steven Bradley (Samantha) Decker of Richmond, VA, and his daughter, Julie Anne (Larry) Mounts, of Princeton, IN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Dennis Ray Decker.
Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main St. in Princeton, IN, has the honor of having charge of the services.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Doyle Funeral Home with Pastor Kyle Powell officiating. Internment will take place at the Fairview Church Cemetery, also in Princeton.
Visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
