Amos S. Stoltzfus, 83, Gordonville, Pa., formerly of Sarasota, died July 21, 2007.
Services were July 25 at Ridgeview Mennonite Church, followed by a private burial ceremony in Gordonville, Pa. Furman Home for Funerals entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include children Isaac H., Kenneth D., J. Myron, Ruth A. and Tina F. Frey; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; brothers David of Overland Park, Kan., and Dan of Mount Joy, Pa.; and sisters Sadie of Gordonville, Priscilla of Leola, Pa., and Miriam of Gap, Pa.
Mr. Stoltzfus was the founder of Stoltzfus Meats Inc., and Stoltzfus Farm Restaurant in Intercourse, Pa. He was a member of the Keystone Evangelical Free Church in Paradise, Pa., and was a member of the board of directors of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, Pa. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary B. Huyard.
