Martha Frantsvog, 88, 1000-2nd St SE, Apt 502, died Thursday in a Minot hospital. Her funeral will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Augustana Lutheran Church with burial in Rosehill Memorial Park, both Minot.
She was born June 8, 1899 at Nome, a daughter of Christ and Anna Lee. She was reared in the Nome area and on Nov 29, 1918 married Alfred Frantsvog. After their marriage they lived on the family farm and farmed near Butte until they moved to Minot in 1922. He worked for the Great Northern Railroad in Minot and was transferred to Stanley for five years. They moved back to Minot where she was employed at Trinity Medical Center as a housekeeper from 1950 until retiring in 1972. He died in September of 1950. She had been a resident of the Henry Towers for the past three years.
She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church and its Esther Circle. She was also a member of the Moose and Eagles Auxiliary, Minot, and the Stanley American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors: son Kenneth Frantsvog, Minot, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be today and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
