Fritz graduated from Princeton University in 1956 and returned to Little Rock where he worked for Rector Phillips Morse, Inc. until he began his own insurance firm. Later in life, Fritz developed a love of computers and remained engaged with software design until days before his death. He and Connie loved to travel, spend time with their family and enjoy the company of their many close friends, who were like family as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Mary Hollenberg White.
Survivors: wife, Constance "Connie" Antone Hollenberg, the love of his life, to whom he was married for sixty-two years; his four children, Stacie H. Reid (John) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Henry G. Hollenberg, III (Elizabeth) of West Monroe, Louisiana, Thomas Tannen Hollenberg (Jan) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Constance Howison Hollenberg (Shannon Orr) of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren, Kathleen "Katie" Reid Shevlin (Ken), Thomas Hollenberg Reid, Elizabeth Coleman Reid, Dr. Sophie Blue Hollenberg, Hannah Adams Hollenberg and Eliza Tannen Hollenberg; sister, Elizabeth Hollenberg Powers (Joe D.); other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the UAMS Myeloma Institute.
The family would like to thank the UAMS 4th floor Infusion Center staff, the excellent staff at Arkansas Hospice and the many friends who supported Connie and Fritz through his illness.
A funeral will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott Street, Friday, June 1, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. with a reception to follow in the gallery.
