Anne Cary Cary Nicholas was born in 1735 at Hampton, Elizabeth, VA. She was born into the Cary family and married into the Nicholas family with Robert Carter Nicholas becoming her husband in 1751. Several years after his death in 1780, she died on December 5, 1786 and resided at Ceeleys, Elizabeth City, VA at 51 years of age.
