Born in Racine on July 16, 1892, Mr. Klinkhammer had lived in Racine all of his life. Prior to retiring in 1957, he had been employed for 32 years at the J.I. Case Company Clausen Works, where he was a foreman. He was a member of Holy Name Church, Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, Apostolate of Suffering and Case Twenty Year Club.
Surviving are three sons, Alfred, Norbert and Thomas; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Betty) Wielgate, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Emmons; one brother, Reverend Peter Klinkhammer, Tucson, Arizona; 21 grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. His wife, Christine, preceded him in death October 9, 1961.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. in the Draeger Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in Holy Name Church, Reverend Peter Klinkhammer officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Highway 32. Friends may call at the Draeger Funeral Home, 1910 Taylor Avenue, Sunday afternoon 4:30 p.m. The Parish Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, 7:30.
