Snow, a former old resident of this county, died, in Decatur, Ill., Wednesday, Oct. 29, of old age. The remains were brought to this city Thursday and short services were held at J. W. Williamson's undertaking establishment Friday morning, after which the remains were taken to Rock Creek cemetery for burial. She was a lady well known by a goodly number of our citizens, and was the mother of the Rev. Ben Snow. She was the wife of Gen. D. J. Snow, and a daughter of Gen. J. D. Duncan, and was aged 76 years.
