Bessie Mae Jarrett, 98 formerly of Lawrence County passed away, March 18, 2017 at Katherine’s Place in Fayetteville.

Born November 23, 1919, daughter of the late Robin and Ellen Smith Mayberry. She was a homemaker, a lifetime member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher, and served on many church committees. Bessie also enjoyed sewing in her younger years. She devoted many hours to her church and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved an opportunity to interact with friends and spent more than 80 years in the Walnut Ridge area but relocated to North Little Rock to be closer to her family.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, T. Clifton Jarrett; a daughter, Shelby Jean Jarrett; a son, Ronald Jarrett; a sister, Jewell Jarrett and her beloved great grandson, Austin Jarrett, which she adored.

Survivors include her son, Tommie (Mary) Jarrett of Bentonville; several nieces and nephews; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as “Ma Ma”; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be Thursday March 23, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home.
