POUND, VA--Charles Newman "Red" Mullins died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999 in Norton Community Hospital.

He was a son of the late Lloyd Mullins and Florence Jones Mullins. He was of the Baptist faith, a 1941 graduate of Milligan College and a US Army veteran. He was employed in the mobile home sales industry until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife Cora Baker Mullins; two daughters Tamara Mullins Dean and Jill Baker Mullins; 2 sons Charles "Chuck" Mullins and Jack Baker Mullins' 3 brothers Fred Mullins, Nile Mullins and Kenneth Mullins; a granddaughter, two step-grandsons; several nieces and nephews.
