Mrs. Harriet Palmer Crabbe, 90, daughter of former Gov. John M. Palmer, died Monday night at the Soldier's Widow's home at Wilmington.

Mrs. Crabbe and her husband were well known in this area. They left Springfield more than 40 years ago. At various times they made their home in Corpus Christi, Tex., New York, and more recently in Los Angeles, Calif.

Mrs. Crabbe was the former Malinda Neeley Palmer and was born Jan. 19,1858, in Carlinville, the youngest of 10 children.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. C. W. Clark, of Washington, D. C.; a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Mrs. Jacob L. Price, died recently.

Mrs. Harriet Palmer Crabbe, former resident of Springfield, died Monday night, March 15, 1948, at the Soldier's Widow's home at Wilmington, age 93.

Survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. C. W. Clark, Washington, D.C.; a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Remains to Thomas C. Smith Sons funeral home where funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
