Funeral services were held Monday afternoon. January 26 at the Wilson County Funeral Home for Mrs. Coggins, 83, of Lebanon.
A member of First Baptist Church, Lebanon, she died peacefully at home Jan. 23, 2009 following a long illness. Services were conducted by Pastor David Freeman with burial at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: husband of 62 years David H. Coggins; daughters Sharon (Mark) Hurwitz and Sandra Coggins -- all of Lebanon; granddaughter Susie Hurwitz of Chicago, IL; brother Joe Allen (Joyce) Marks of Carthage and sisters-in-law Jennie Coggins of Badin, N.C. and Frances Marks of Lebanon.
