Her husband, who was a pominent member of the Bar, died in 1890. Mrs. Claggett was a musician of rare ability, a member of the Episcopal church and was highly esteemed.
Surviving are six sons, Robert N., John Lawson, Tampica, NM; Samuel, Salem, Va., Zachariah, Greenville, Miss.; Fred D., Cincinnatia, O.; and one daughter, Miss Jennie N., at home.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon. Services at the house; interment in the old Episcopal graveyard.
