Mary Kathleen Nagel Kothmann Bosarge passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the age of 78, wife of the late Delmas H. Bosarge, Jr. and widow of the late Henry P. Kathmann, Jr., MD. She was the daughter of the late Emile S. Nagel and the late Mary Kathleen McCue Nagel of New Orleans. She is survived by her children Henry P. Kothmann, III (Mary Ellen), Edward C. Bosarge, Christopher J. Bosarge, MD (Lisa) and Katique Bosarge Gennaro (Tommy). She is also survived by "Marmee’s" 6 loving grandchildren: Kayla, Kristina, Brittany, Teresa, Dominic, and Andy. She was the sister of the late Gerard E. Nagel (Linda) and is survived by her sister, Patricia Nagel Boudreaux (Charles) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Academy of the Holy Angels High School and attended Loyola
University in New Orleans where she studied Education. For over 35 years, she was a teacher and owner of two private schools. A private interment was held on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at St. Patrick’s No. 1 Cemetery.
