Mary Lou Rose, age 83, of Kalamazoo passed away on January 22, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice facility. Mary Lou is now in heaven, pain free, with all of her beloved family. Mary Lou was born in Kalamazoo on January 30,1933, to Frank and Bertina (Watson) Allworth. Mary Lou met the "Love of Her Life" & "Her Soulmate", Harold Rose. They married on June 2, 1951, at the Fort Custer Chapel. Harold and Mary Lou were happily married for 55 years. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Patsy and (Rick), and her son, Jeff Rose; Special Niece, Sue Olinger; Her grandchildren, little Jeff (Heidi), Pete (Crystal), Matthew, Joshua and Amanda (Scott); Her great-grand children, Madeline, Haden, Megan, and soon to be, Annalee. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rose, on June 9th 2006; Her brothers (Duke, Bob, and Harold Allworth); Her sisters (Elinore Sargert, Donna Kitsmiller, and Lettie Eager). Mary Lou loved her house, and was one of the best housekeepers ever! She loved shopping with her daughter Patsy, and taking wonderful trips with her son Jeff. Mary Lou will be laid to rest, with her husband Harold, at the National Cemetery, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family wishes to thank, her caring and loving nieces, Sandy DeJong, Philis, and ProMeds of Richland for their excellent care. Rest in peace, until we meet again in heaven. You were loved, and we are honored to be your children. Donations can be made to the Coop Prairie Church in Mansfield, Arkansas.
