Lovetta Joan Brubaker, age 92, of Pickerington, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at her residence. Born April 8, 1924 in Lancaster to the late Howard W. & Jennie F. (Waits) Eads, she was a 1942 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was a former employee of Hills Fabrics and Haraway’s Clothing Store in Lancaster, was a former long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, and belonged to the Pickerington Lioness Club.
She was a member of Peace United Methodist Church, Pickerington Senior Center, and the Pickerington Historical Society.
Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas N. Brubaker in 2015; and siblings, Billy Eads, Sylvia Garrett, Jack Eads, and Jim Eads.
She is survived by daughters, Diane (Dan) Thomason, Lancaster, Carol (Rick) Metcalf-Johnson, Show-Low, AZ; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob Robinson) Alley-Robinson, Laura (Steve) Telfer, Carol (Danny) Worrell; great-grandchildren, Matthew & Mysterie Mills, Elizabeth & Ashley Telfer, Thomas, Robert, Joseph, Nicholas, & Andrew Worrell; great-great-grandchildren, Brody, Schellby Lovetta, & Payse; sister, Norma Lytle; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit 6-8 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday. Interment Violet Cemetery.
