The exploits of Toussaint Dubois Jr (1790-1833 ?) are often confused with those of his famous father, Toussaint Dubois Sr (1753-1816). Like his father, Toussaaint Dubois Sr, he did participate in the War of 1812. He served as a Private in Parker's Squadron, Light Dragons, Militia. He mustered in on Nov. 19, 1811.

Did he die in/near Lawrenceville ? Currently s unknown.

Is he buried in Lawrenceville ? Questionable.

A visit will be made to the Lawrenceville City Cemetery to see if there is an actual burial site for Toussaint Dubois Jr. in the older section of that cemetery. There is only one known member of the Dubois family buried in a Lawrencville cemetery, that being WWI veteran Charles Franklin Dubois (1896-1941).

It is doubtful that Toussaint Jr would have been buried in the Lawrenceville Cemetery when his parents were buried in the Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral Cemetery. Also, I'm not sure that the Lawrenceville Cemetery even existed at the guessed year (1833 ?) of his death.
