Cherokee was born in 2002 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. He was the son of Pluto and Bandit (Bandy).

Cherokee and Pluto were inseparable. They were always playing with each other chasing each other through the house or on the cat tower I made them. Cherokee, as well as Pluto really enjoyed sitting at the window and looking outside. He was an indoor cat so things outside were new to him.

Cherokee was a Ragdoll breed cat and had great colors. He was born pure white and within a few weeks he had other colors coming through. He was a large cat but was not a fat cat.

We went into a hotel one time with Cherokee and Pluto and the attendant said, "that is some pretty colored dogs". They were shocked when we said they were cats and showed their faces. They were in awe of their size. Cherokee weighed as much as 26lb. I repeat, he was not a fat cat he was just a large cat.

Cherokee lived a good life and will be loved and missed forever. He was cremated and a paw print made in clay and he rests beside his dad Pluto.
