Mrs. Betsy Nordquist of 1337 Wood Street died yesterday at the age of 92 years at a local nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Bleking, Sweden, and had lived in Eureka for the past 66 years.

She was a charter member of the Mission Covenant Church and, at the time of her death, the oldest member of the congregation. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Olga Roberts and Mrs. Alice Alden, both of Arcata; four sons, Clarence Nordquist of Rio Dell, Elmer Nordquist of Eureka, Oscar Nordquist of Samoa and Walter Nordquist of San Mateo; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; also a brother, Nels Carlson, Solvesby, Sweden, and a sister, Mrs. Pella Svensen, of Hellevig, Sweden.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at sanders Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald V. Stenberg officiating. Burial will be in Ocean View Cemetery.
