She married Robert E. Hardt, Sr. in Bellwood at the United Church of Christ and celebrated 56 years of marriage on February 25th. Mary Ann was employed by UPS in Oak Brook, working in customer service for 17 years. After moving to the Sterling area, Mary Ann began volunteering at CGH Medical Center. Four years after working there she began working as the patient advocate assistant and to help with the auxiliary and volunteer program. She retired after nearly 9 years there. She liked genealogy and playing the organ. Mary Ann loved and valued her husband, family and friends more than anything in the world.
