William O. Bush died suddenly yesterday morning at his home, 822 Minnehaha avenue. He was 82 years of age. Death was caused primarily by asthma, and secondarily by old age. He had been ill but a few hours.
It is believed that Bush had considerable money, and an investigation will be made by the coroner. In the meantime that official has taken charge of the old man's property until the relatives have been communicated with.
Mr. Bush came from New York 28 years ago, and for the past 18 years he has kept a dry goods store at the place where he died. He lived alone in the building, was said to have been very penurious, and his few acquaintances believe that he left a considerable sum of money. He is known to have had money in the bank, but it is also thought that somewhere in his store or living apartments he had secreted a part of his savings. When he died yesterday Coroner Nelson was notified and he locked up the store and will search the place today.
Mr. Bush had no friends or relatives in Minneapolis, but he has a daughter at Clymer, N. Y. Word of her father's death was sent her, and in the meantime the body is at the undertaking rooms of P. Olson Earl.
