Graveside services for Helen Zurga Barham, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the Hasley Pavilion in West Monroe, LA. Interment will be in the St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Frank Coens officiating.

Mrs. Barham was born on December 25, 1926 in Monroe, LA, and died on January 29, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, served as a volunteer to numerous civic organizations, including: Ouachita Parish Library, Ouachita Parish Council on Aging, St. Francis Auxiliary, and EA Conway Auxiliary.

She was an avid bridge player; participated in garden clubs; participated in Senior Olympic Line Dancing group who won multiple gold medals and was an avid golfer for over 40 years.

Mrs. Barham is preceded in death by parents, Tony and Annie Raysell Zurga; sister Gertrude Zurga Larson; husbands, Gayle K. Doningues, Cyril”Cy” E. Epler, Charles “Cap” E. Barham.

Survivors include daughter, Gale Domingues Wolf of Jackson, MS; sons, Michael Cyril Epler and wife Melissa of Monroe, LA, Patrick Henry Epler of Birmingham, AL; granddaughter, Jennifer Epler; with numerous nieces and nephews.
