Ottawa, Ill., September 29.

Mrs. Col. W. H. CUSHMAN died at her residence in this city this morning. Her maiden name was Anna RODNEY, and she was born in Wilmington, Del., and comes of an old and honored family. Her grandfather(Correction: Great uncle), Hon Caesar RODNEY, was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence,(Her grandfather was Judge Thomas Rodney , younger brother of Caesar) and her father, Hon. C. A. RODNEY, was Attorney General of the United States and conducted the prosecution of Aaron BURR and was subsequently Minister to the Argentine Republic. She was a bridesmaid at President LINCOLN's wedding and was on intimate terms with many of the moving spirits of 1860.
