James Harold Wilson, 55, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007. Born October 23, 1951, in Seminole, Texas, he was the son of James Edward and Johnnette (Harden) Wilson.
After serving as a police officer with the Little Rock Police Department for twenty-eight years, Mr. Wilson retired and began working for �A Cab Company� of Jacksonville until his passing.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Janet (Johnson) Wilson, two sons, Justin Wilson and his wife, Kristi, and Jason Wilson, one daughter, Kimberly, all of Jacksonville, three sisters, Mary Duda and her husband, Melvin, of Alton, Illinois, Shannon Hall and her husband, Michael, of North Little Rock, and Melissa Hall and her husband, Jim, of Jacksonville, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2007, at New Life Assembly of God Church in Gravel Ridge, 8013 Jacksonville Cato Road, Gravel Ridge, Arkansas, with Minister Bonnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas (501-835-3515).
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, at the funeral home.
