Nancy Williams Gram died Monday, June 19, 2006, in Savannah, Ga., following a stroke earlier this year. She was 91.

Born Nancy Quirk on June 12, 1915, in Ypsilanti, she studied social work at the University of Michigan, where she met Williams. They married in 1937, one week after she earned her degree.

Nancy Williams hosted her own television program, "Nancy's Scrap Book," on a Lansing station.

Williams died in 1988, and the following year, she married family friend Harris James Gram Jr. of Grosse Pointe Farms in 1989. He died in November 2004. She moved to Savannah, Ga., in April 2005.

Survivors include a son, G. Mennen "Gery" Williams Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Ketterer and Wendy Stock Williams; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five stepdaughters.
