Marguerite Emma Elva (Maynard) Hill, age 89 years of Fremont, passed away on Monday morning, January 3, 2005 at Fountain View Retirement Village in Fremont. She was born January 31, 1915 in Dalton Township, Michigan to Thomas & Mildred Johnson. She was a charter member of Fremont United Methodist Church, and had been a self-employed beautician. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Maynard, Sr.; and by her son William Maynard, Jr. On March 28, 1989 she married Howard Hill and he survives her along with her daughter: Janet (Galen) Brookens of Fremont; her daughter-in-law: Joyce (Bill) McGowan of Lansing, MI.; her step-daughter: Jane Kelly of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; her brother: LeRoy (Iola) Johnson of N. Muskegon. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, January 7, 2004 at Fremont United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Wood officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 7-9PM on Thursday, January 6, 2005. Suggested Memorials: Hospice of Michigan - Newaygo County, or the Fremont United Methodist Church Memorial Garden. Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
