Wesley A. Krueger, 59, of Route 1, Illinois City, died suddenly at his home at 3 p.m. Monday.
He was born Feb. 22, 1901, in Drury township, a son of J. A. August and Mary L. Danner Krueger. He married Vera M. Martin Jan. 10, 1926 at Aledo, Ill. Mr. Krueger had been engaged in farming. He was a member of the Illinois City Methodist church.
Surviving are his widow and three brothers, Paul K. Krueger and John W. Krueger of Illinois City and Leon D. Krueger of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Illinois City Methodist church by the Rev. Clarence Burnett. Burial will be at the Illinois City cemetery. The body will remain at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home in Muscatine pending services.
