Good probability the interred, subject to further research, is this Civil War officer:

Surgeon (and Major) George A. Hurlburt. Originally from Glastonbury CT. Enlisted on 12/11/1861 as Asst. Surgeon in the 1st CT Light Artillery. Later promoted and commissioned into the Field & Staff of the 1st CT Cavalry as regimental surgeon, 1/9/62. He mustered out 8/2/1865 and presumably returned to his pre-war medical practice.
