Ernest Frank Kulka of Bethany, age 78, died Friday, December 18, 2015. He was born August 9, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Arnast and Frantiska (Balabon) Kulka.

He was a graduate of Central High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, before earning his college degree from Oklahoma City University. Ernest was an engineer for Western Electric/AT&T.

He loved fishing, photography and playing his trumpet in numerous bands around Oklahoma including the Oklahoma Symphonic Band.

He married the love of his life, Barbara Givens, on November 27, 1958, in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Tom, and a daughter, Tamara.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; son, Terry Kulka, and wife, Christy, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Jeremy, Travis and Mackenzie. Also, by one brother; Joe Kulka, and wife, Debra; and two sisters, Olga Goforth and Helen Ore, and husband, Johnny.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015, at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma.
