Charles Alexander Peden was born May 16, 1868 in Arkansas, the son of John Peden and Kate (Walker) Peden. [NOTE: Although his Death Certificate has his 1st name as Clarence, all census and other public records for his name as Charles.]
He was married to Hettie Due (1875-1956), the daughter of Newton E "Newt" Due (1844-1931) and his wife Hannah Jane (Erwin) Due (1846-1920).
A retired power engineer for the city of Nashville, and living at 2110 Wilson Avenue, he was 73 years old and married when he died at home of cardiac decompensation on June 10, 1941. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.
