Son of early CA pioneers August and Augusta Schuckman, Frank married Margaret Henneke in 1904. Mr. Schuckman was instrumental in operating and preserving The Mountain House established by his father, August. The Mountain House in the foothills of Colusa County was a rest stop and bar for travelers through the area. He also established a telephone company and financed the building of the city hall in Williams and some of the city's water projects. Mr Schuckman was Uncle to CA govenor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown (1959-1967) and great uncle to four-time CA govenor Edmund "Jerry" Brown. Frank and Margaret spent their later years at their home in Williams, CA
