H.L. “KENNY” HARRISON, 73, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008. He was born July 14, 1935, in El Dorado to the late Lewis Lee Harrison and Myrtle Fletcher Harrison. He was also predeceased by a brother, Lewis Lee Harrison, Jr. Kenny graduated from high school in Natchez, Miss. and received a BSdegree from Mc Neese State University. He worked in agricultural sales and was a member of the Arkansas Plant Foods Society. Kenny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Arthurine Harrison; daughter, Rhonda Harrison Hestir (Mike); grandson, Harrison Michael Hestir, who called him “Pap”; and two brothers, Marlton Ray Harrison and Jerry Wayne Harrison. He also leaves his special friend Pebbles.
There will be a memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by The Rev. Canon R.Ewing Jackson. A graveside service will follow at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Garden followed by a reception in Morrison Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 310 W. 17th Street, Little Rock, Ark. Cremation arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home,
