White Hall or Whitehall, the home of the William and Anna White family in Raleigh, North Carolina was built about 1799 when William White was the N.C. Secretary of State. Now known as the "White-Holman House," this photograph was taken in March of 2013. The house has undergone significant modifications since its original construction at the end of the Eighteenth Century. The White-Holman House is located at 206 New Bern Place, Raleigh, NC, having been reoriented in the 1980s to face New Bern Place instead of nearby Morgan Street. (Information from the website of the Raleigh Historic Development Commission.)
