Frances (Patterson) Garner got to meet her Lord and Savior face to face on the morning of March 19, 2008, when she passed, during peaceful sleep, from this earthly life after 98 1/2 years. She had a love for her Lord, family and fun.
Born Oct. 22, 1909, she was married to the late Ollie E. Patterson for 48 years. After he went to meet our Lord, she later married the late Maynard (Pete) Garner. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Rebal Casebier of Harrisburg, Margaret Olive of Paragould, Helen Barnhill of Tennessee, Nina Mangrum and one son, Ollie E. (Pat) Patterson, Jr., both of Alvarado, Texas. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grand children.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:15 p.m., Saturday, at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Linwood Cemetery with Joel Olive officiating. The procession will leave Mitchell Funeral Home at 1:20 p.m.
