ANDERSON RITES ARE HELD TUESDAY
Mrs. Hattie Bates Anderson, 85, widow of the late Howard B. Anderson and a resident of Franklin for more than 70 years, died at her home, 302 Lake Avenue, early last Saturday. Mrs. Anderson, in failing health for the past several years, had been seriously ill only since mid-November.
The funeral services, conducted by the Rev. William J. Hannum, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Eaton Funeral Home with burial being made in Woodhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born September 20, 1866, at Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Flavius Josephus and Mary Bates Cather. She was married February 11, 1884, to Howard B.
