ROSE, Mary Frances age 96 of Germantown, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at her residence under the care of Hospice of Dayton.


She was born March 2, 1918 in Kentucky to the late John and Magdalene Mullins. In addition to her parents,


Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Orville M. Rose in 1996; her children, Clyde, Winford, Ronald and Clari; a grandson, Steven Rose; granddaughter, Clarissa Rose; 3 sisters, 5 brothers and other infant siblings.


She is survived by her children, Phillis Rose of Germantown, Roger Rose of Miamisburg and Teddy (Dona) Rose of Summerville, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Elaine Rose and former daughter-in-law Rita Rose as well as numerous other extended family.


Mary worked hard to help provide for her family. She was employed by several area businesses including Carlton Envelope, Twin Valley Aluminum and Kits Toys. She was a member of Rose Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed surrounding herself with family, caring for her home and raising her children.


Family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Rose Chapel Primitive Baptist


Church, West Carrollton and officiated by Pastor Jim Lykins. Burial will follow immediately at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Chapel Primitive Baptist Church at 101 E. Shannon Ave., West Carrollton, OH 45449 in memory of Mary.
