======================== EDIT IN PROGRESS ==========================
WW2 German Colonel, Resistant Fighter and bomb plot conspirator. Fritz served in the German Army, and was a highly decorated veteran of World War I. He later joined the newly formed Wehrmacht as an Oberst (Colonel), and again became a distinguished and highly decorated officer, including becoming a recipient of Knight Cross. However, he immediately began having serious doubts and concerns about the new Nazi government. Hence, he joined the German resistance movement with Hans Oster, Friedrich Olbricht and Ludwig Beck and took part in the assassination bomb plot against Adolf Hitler on July 20th, 1944. Unfortunately Hitler survived, and Fritz, along with many of those involved in the planning, were executed. His son Krafft Jaeger was arrested and sent to Sachsenhausen concentration camp, but survived. On September 25th, 1995 his son unveiled a memorial plaque to his father at the house where Fritz was born, exactly 100 years to the day. The house is now the Kirchberg an der Jagst's town hall.
