Cordes – Mrs. Lena Cordes, wife of William Cordes, died at her home two miles south of Seymour, Thursday night after a two weeks' illness of pneumonia, aged forty-seven years.

Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rosemeyer and was born in Jackson township February 17, 1876. She is survived by her husband and one son, William, also her father, four brothers and two sisters, Charles and Edward Rosemeyer and Mrs. Andrew Stradley, of near Seymour, and Henry and William Rosemeyer and Mrs. Charles Oliver of Idaho.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. H. Eggers at the Seymour Lutheran church Sunday afternoon. Burial in the Lutheran cemetery.
