Isaac Jone was a son of Edward Jones ( -1751 Will) and Susannah. His mother was also named Susannah.
The death date is based on his Will. Isaac Jones may have been born in New Jersey rather than Pennsylvania.
The town of Elizabeth (later becoming Elizabethtown) was laid out on Isaac Jones' land.
The Will of Isaac Jones is filed in Bladen Co., NC Court Will Bk. I pg 525. It is dated 10 Sept. 1783. It names sons Edward Jones , Isaac Jones, Jr., Musgrove Jones, a grand daughter, Jean Humphrey.
Sons-in-law: Benjamin Humphrey, Benjamin FitzRandolph - who married his daughter, Mary; John Lennon, Josiah Hendon.
Land locations: Bartram's Lake (known today as White Lake); His ferry at Elizabeth town which crosses the Cape Fear River.

An interesting note: He names his brothers Joseph, William & Snowden Singletary (the household goods that I had with their mother by marriage.
Executors were his sons: Isaac, Jr. and Musgrove Jones.
Witnesses: William Salter, Robert Hodge, Elizabeth Floyd.
In 1778, Isaac Jones and wife, Susannah(not named in Will) sold lot 77 in Elizabethtown to Rev. James Atkins (Deed Bk.37 n.79, Bk. 37 n.297.
