Henry Evans, an old and respected resident of Penhold school district seven miles southwest of town, died on Friday last 9th inst., from heart failure. Deceased had been poorly for some time, and owing to his advanced age, 76 years, he was unable to withstand the fell destroyer. The funeral took place from his late residence to Red Deer Cemetery, the Rev. Canon Hinchliffe conducting the service. Deceased leaves a wife and family to mourn his death.
