DEATH OF MRS. SMITH.
After Many Years Of Faithful Service Aged Lady Passed to Rest.

Thursday at the County Home where she has been making her home, occurred the death of Mrs. Sarah Smith, more familiarly known by many as "Auntie Smith". She was 85 years of age. Many have been her kindly acts in the days of her ability and many will kindly remember her faithful service to her church an its work. She has been exceedingly frail for a number of years and her death comes as no surprise to her fiends.

The funeral service was held this afternoon at three o'clock from the Christian church and were conducted by Rev. Osborn of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Saunders Circle in the city cemetery.

Husband: Loyd A Smith 1828-Abt 1870 burial unknown probably Clarke Co, Iowa.
Children: Levi Newton 1848-1935, Jasper Preston 1851-Aft 1916, Frances M. 1856-1860, James Alvin 1857-1945.
