Mr. Wyatt was a member of Willo-Hill Baptist Church in Willoughby. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired in 1984 from Chase Bag Co. in the Engineering Dept. Prior to that he was employed at IRC Fibers in Painesville.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by his daughter MaryBeth (Clifford) Fehr of Chardon; son John S. Wyatt, Jr. of Marion, NC; son Andrew P. (Ruth) Wyatt of Chardon and 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, parents; his sisters Frances Adkins and Martha (Watson) Kallay.
A memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville. Rev. Kent Hobi officiated.
A private burial took place in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association or a charity of their choice.
