Son Of Ex-Governor Dies at Ishpeming
Ishpeming - Dr. Theodore A. Felch, 91, a practicing physician here for 38 years until his retirement in 1918, died Monday. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. Ellzey Hayden.
He was born March 30,1847, at Ann Arbor, 26 days before his father resigned as the fourth governor of Michigan to become a United States senator. he was graduated from the University of Michigan in 1871 and from the Detroit Medical college 1n 1874. Upon coming to Ishpeming, Dr. Felch purchased an interest in the Ishpeming hospital
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.

Pioneer Ishpeming Physician Passes
Death has claimed Dr. Theodore Alpheus Felch, well known physician and one of Ishpeming"s leading citizens for many years. He passed from life Nov. 21 at the age of 91.
The veteran doctor had not been in the best of health for several years but was active and able to get around.
Dr. Felch was born on March 30, 1847, in Ann Arbor, the son of Alpheus Felch, who was the fourth governor of the State of Michigan and later a United States senator.
