Thomas "Tommy" Anthony McDaniel -FEBRUARY 5, 1952 – JANUARY 28, 2012
Tommy McDaniel was born to Richard and Elsie McDaniel on February 5, 1952 in Burnet, Texas. Tommy passed away suddenly on January 28, 2012. He is survived by his son, Brian McDaniel; mother, Elsie McDaniel; brothers, Danny and wife Susanne, Richard and wife Bonnie; grandsons, Christopher and Skyler; three nieces, along with great-nieces and great-nephews. All of whom will greatly miss him. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Michelle; father, Richard; and sister, Elizabeth. Tommy was an accomplished carpenter. He built homes and apartment complexes all over central Texas and was in the construction trade all of his life. He was a self taught guitar player and artist. He loved the outdoors. If he was not working he was camping or fishing with family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with burial following at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. Honoring Tommy as pallbearers will be Chris Purcell, Larry Doyle, August Motloch, Jr., Lino Ibarra, Clinton Lester, and Curtis McDaniel.
