Son of David Sr and Patti. His mom was wrongfully convicted of killing his older brother, Ryan, with ethylene glycol poisoning. David Jr - DJ - was born while his mother was in prison; he was soon diagnosed with methylmalonic acidemia (MMA) a rare genetic disorder that mimics ethylene glycol poisoning. This discovery eventually helped exonerate his mother.
