Frank Henze of Plymouth Takes Life By Hanging

Plymouth - (Special) - Frank W. Henze, 73, resident of Plymouth for over 40 years, was found dead, the victim of hanging at his home at 440 Milwaukee Street, Sunday morning. His body was found in the attic at 11:30am. Coroner H.H. Heiden was called to the home and pronounced the death a suicide.

Mr. Henze was born Feb. 3, 1865, in the town of Herman, the son of Edward and Charlotte Henze. He was married May 10, 1894, to Miss Emma Reickenbach and the couple resided in this city since their marriage. He was employed at the Lakeshire Cheese Company here until Feb. 1 of this year when he retired on pension. He had brooded over the fact that he could no longer work, which probably was the motive for his suicide.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Francis of Milwaukee, Alvin of New York City, and Carlton of Antigo; two daughters, Mrs. Stafford (Ilma) Byrum of Marinette, and Mrs. Randall (Naomi) Stehn of Mishicot; a twin sister, Mrs. Martin Larson of Plymouth, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the home with the Rev. Samuel Bullough, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends and relatives may view the body at the home from Tuesday afternoon until the time of services.
