Funeral services for George Everett Vincent, who was killed by lighting at his farm home, southeast of Keota June 11, were held Friday afternoon, June 14, at 2:30 from the Federated Church in Keota. The Rev. H. N. Poston officiated. Mrs. Dale Moody sang and Mrs. Robert Montgomery was organist.
Casket bearers were Harold Pepper, Eury Henderson, Lewis Baer, Walter Fagen, Doyle Palmer and Henry Trier. Burial was in the Keota Cemetery where the graveside military rites were conducted by the American Legion.
