Robert M Bryant Attended Funeral of His Mother
Robert M Bryant of 1715 Pickens street, a locomotive engineer employed by the Atlantic Coast Line, has returned from Petersburg, Va, where he attended the funeral of his mother, Mrs Annie Eliza Hughes. Mrs Hughes died suddenly last Friday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs B A Ford, in Petersburg.
The following is from the Petersburg Index-Appeal of Saturday morning:
"Mrs Hughes had been complaining for several days, but her condition was not regarded as serious until a few minutes before her death. The deceased was about 69 years of age and is survived by three daughters and one son, viz: Mrs B A Ford, with whom she lived; Mrs E G Emory, Mrs Howard NOrris of this city, and R M Bryant of Columbia, SC.
"Mrs Hughes was a member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal church, a good woman, and will be greatly missed by her many friends throughout the city. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Good Shepherd church. The interment will be made in Blandford cemetery."
