Mrs. Mary Bodholdt
Mrs. Mary Bodholdt, 89, a former resident of Waterloo, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Chicago, of complications of advanced age. She had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Jack Funk, in Chicago since 1948.
She was born April 30, 1866, in Denmark, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Skov. On Feb. 28, 1891, she was married to John J. Bodholdt in Cedar Falls. Following the marriage the couple moved t Waterloo. Her husband died in 1948.
She is survived by three sons, Arne and Richard, of Evanston, Ill., Edward, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Hubert Conover, Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Funk, Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Anna Sondergaard, Denmark, and three grandchildren.
The body is expected to arrive Saturday morning. Funeral services are tentatively planned for Saturday afternoon. The Parrott & Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
