BREWSTER - Marie Duelks, formerly of Reno, Nev., and Carnelian Bay, Calif., died Oct. 16 at Pleasant Bay Nursing Home in Brewster, where she resided. She was the wife of Jack William Duelks, who died January 8, 1980. She was a 1935 graduate of the University of Nevada at Reno. She was proud to be a second-generation Nevadan.
Survivors include a son, Jack Gary Duelks of St. Augustine, Fla.; a sister, Marjorie Evans of Reno; a brother, Donald Richards of California; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were private at Lake Tahoe.
