Maye Hoagland, age 93, of Richland Center, WI and formerly of Monticello, MN passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013.
She was born on April 7, 1919 in Silver Creek Twp, Wright County, MN the daughter of Charles and Victoria (Hellerstedt) Anderson.
Maye worked for 27 years as an accountant for the City of Minneapolis. She loved to dance and enjoyed volunteering at her church.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews Charlotte Van Noy, Richard Van Noy, Bruce (Susan) Van Noy, Barbara (Ronald) Von Haden and Robert (Dianne) Knecht, great nieces and great nephews Ryan (Jolene) Von Haden, Nicole Knecht, Kimberly (Michael) Cordio and Patrick Knecht, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Hoagland, sisters Lorraine Van Noy and Ilye Knecht, brother-in-law Glen Knecht, and half sister Florence Anderson.
A time of gathering was held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo at 11:00 A.M.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday at Noon. Pastor John Carlson officiated.
Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
